Under the medical direction of an Anesthesiologist is responsible for administering anesthesia to patients in accordance with prescribed anesthesia plan.
A. Minimum Education: A level of knowledge normally acquired through graduation from an accredited school of nursing and graduation from an accredited nurse anesthetist school.
B. Minimum Work Experience: Successful completion of training with certification.
C. Certification, Licensure, Registration: Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan. Clinical specialty license for Michigan. Certification with the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Current BCLS and ACLS.
